What is a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?
|An NDA is an abbreviation commonly used in English to refer to Non-Disclosure Agreement, which in Portuguese is translated into Confidentiality Agreement. It is also often translated into Confidentiality Contract or Non-Disclosure Contract or even Non-Disclosure Confidentiality Agreement. The characteristics are therefore the same and, in general terms, aim to protect the confidentiality of certain information.|
This agreement usually specifies confidential information to be protected from being disclosed to third parties not covered by the agreement, as well as the term of the agreement, procedures to adopt, penalties for any eventual breaches, among other things.
